FAQ
How much space do we need?
We usually recommend enough table space for each guest to have a workspace about the size of a place setting. We can work with dining tables, kitchen islands, or even patio tables on a nice day.
Do I need to provide anything?
Just the space and the guests! We bring all the materials, tools, and protective coverings. If the craft requires water or an outlet, we’ll let you know in advance.
What about the mess?
Don't worry—we’re the "no-stress" guests. We provide table clothes and Kraft paper covers as needed, and we handle all the cleanup of craft materials before we leave. One thing we certainly recommend is avoiding doing crafts over a carpeted area.
I’m not "artistic"—can I still do this?
Absolutely! Our projects are designed for all skill levels. We focus on the "mingle" as much as the "make," with step-by-step guidance so everyone goes home with something they're proud of.
How long does a typical session last?
Most workshops run between 90 minutes and 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to create and socialize without feeling rushed. We ask also for 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to tidy before we’re on our way!
Can we eat and drink while we craft?
We encourage it! We just recommend keeping "messy" finger foods (like wings or chips) a little separate from the crafting station to keep your project pristine. Perhaps, you’d like to set up a separate table for snacks!
What is the age limit for kids' sessions?
We generally recommend our "Mini Mingles" sessions for ages 4 and up. For children under 4, we suggest having a "Helper Grown-up" nearby to assist with fine motor tasks.
What if a child finishes way before the others?
We always bring a "Mingle Activity Pack" (stickers, coloring sheets, or extra beads) to keep the fast-movers engaged while their friends finish their masterpieces.
Do parents need to stay for the whole session?
We require at least one adult "Host" to remain on-site for the duration of the event. Think of us as the entertainment, while you’re the supervisor!
