Embroidered Photos

Transform your cherished photos into unique textile art! In this guided class, you’ll embroider your own 5″×7″ printed picture with needle and thread, turning exquisite memories into tangible keepsakes.

What to expect:

An instructional class on how to achieve these beautiful pieces of artwork to emphasize your memories as well as tips and tricks on different embroidery techniques. And, of course, Mingle time with Friends and Family.

What’s included:

5"x7" Printed photo of your choice ready for class, needles and your choice of embroidery threads. Please know that we bring padding enough to cover workspace of each individual, so your surfaces stay safe from pin marks.

Time required: 1.5 - 2hrs

Cautions:

We will provide needles and thread but also thimbles for protecting your fingers! Scissors will also be available – please use them safely.

Considerations:

If you’re new to embroidery, don’t be shy about this one! We’re keen to guide and assist as you learn how to puncture the print and embroider designs on your picture.

Ideas:

Think crowns, wings, bows, polka dots, zigzags, rays of light, flowers or vines. (Heck, for instance, I turned a stick into a magic wand. You can too.)
